Airline Captain • Entrepreneur • Author
A memoir of resilience, recovery, faith, and learning to live again.
The younger Brian lived the story. The older Brian explains the lesson.
Six themes drawn from a lifetime of living, losing, and rising again.
From becoming one of the youngest Boeing 747 Captains in the world to navigating life's greatest storms, Brian Nastovski shares a deeply personal journey through adversity, faith, family, loss, recovery, and redemption.
Just Breathe is a story of resilience, second chances, and finding peace through life's most difficult seasons. Written for anyone who has ever hit a wall they didn't see coming — and wondered how to get back up.
A story that reminds you that your hardest season is not your final chapter. Raw, honest, and deeply human.
Brian writes the way a captain flies — calm under pressure, honest about the turbulence, and always pointing toward the horizon.
This is the book I needed ten years ago. Every man who has ever lost himself in the storm needs to read this.
Brian Nastovski is an Airline Captain, Entrepreneur, Author, Husband, and Father. His aviation career spans more than four decades — beginning as an aircraft mechanic and ascending to become one of the youngest Boeing 747 Captains in the world at age thirty.
From Pacific cargo routes to the flight decks of major airlines, from building companies to rebuilding his life, Brian has navigated some of the most demanding terrain a person can face — in the air and on the ground.
Throughout a lifetime of challenges, achievements, setbacks, and blessings, he has learned that life's greatest lessons are often found not at the destination, but along the journey.
Today he shares those lessons through writing, speaking, aviation, entrepreneurship, and faith.
Second Edition
The first edition was written by a man trying to survive a storm. The second edition was written by a man looking back on the entire journey.
This expanded edition includes new chapters, deeper reflection, and the wisdom that only comes from having walked through the fire and come out the other side. It is a book for anyone who has ever lost their footing — and needed to find it again.
Book Two — Freight Dogs — the untold story of the cargo years, Pacific routes, and the brotherhood of the night sky. Coming soon.
